Biochar and Healthy Living Soils

The Blackdown Hills Eco Hub is a vibrant community space dedicated to promoting sustainable living, biochar and environmental education. Nestled in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, we offer a variety of hands-on workshops and activities, from biochar production, learning about healthy living soils, carbon sequestration, wildlife-friendly no dig gardening to eco-friendly crafts and rewilding projects.

Our BH Eco Hub also features a thriving community food-growing garden, where locals can come together to learn, share, and grow. We're running various trials with biochar and different vegetables.  We meet every Wednesday from 14:00 - 16:00 hrs and Saturdays from 11:00 - 13:00 hrs.

Whether you're interested in reducing your carbon footprint, enhancing biodiversity, or connecting with like-minded individuals, the Eco Hub has something for everyone!

Biochar packs which support our work at the Eco Hub can be purchased online here or directly from us at the Eco Hub.
